He and his business partner in memoriam, Sam DiMaio, started JBS Logistics, Inc (Naperville, IL) in 1986. They grew the two person operation into a company of 120 employees and 40M in revenue until they sold the JBS in 2016 to Koch Logistics (Minneapolis MN).

Alec is highly regarded in the logistics field for his experience and knowledge in the Supply-Chain
Industry. He served as Chairman of the Transportation Intermediary Association (TIA) Board of Directors
in 2013 and was a member of the Executive Committee from 2002 – 2014. He holds a BS and MBA Degree (Business Administration) from Lewis University (Romeoville, IL). and is currently a member of the
Lewis University College of Business Advisory Board.

JBS’ growth included acquiring similar small businesses, which is another area of expertise Alec has.   He will advise business owners when acquiring a competitor or selling their company taking them through the whole process from Letters of Intent (LOI) to closing.    

Alec and his wife Karen have four children; Lauren, Atlas, Joseph, and Sarah as well as two grandchildren
Xander & Liam.
